Taylor Swift released The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore on 25 September 2026. The edition adds four songs to the original twelve-track album. The music video for one of those songs, Patient Zero, premiered at the VMAs in Los Angeles on 27 September, local time.
Which four songs are new?
The added tracks are Patient Zero, Cleveland!, Pink Clouding and Babylon. Universal Music's release announcement lists sixteen tracks in total: the original twelve plus those four additions. The Encore is an expanded album edition, not the name of a new television series.
What is the Patient Zero video?
Patient Zero is a music video, not a feature film. Swift directed it, with Dakota Johnson, Colin Farrell and Cara Delevingne appearing in the cast. Universal Music's 28 September announcement confirms that the video had premiered the previous day at the VMAs.
